Due to our extensive involvement with the reservoir inspections to date, SASTTI JV has had a major influence in the development and the current condition assessment framework of Sydney’s reservoirs. It is this extensive on-site experience evaluating the condition of the existing structures which has allowed us to recognise common construction and design flaws that can result in the significant reduction in the service life of the asset.

SASTTI JV has been the driving force behind most of the major innovations in the re-design of Sydney’s reservoir roofs over the past decade. This has resulted in significant increases in the longevity and functionality of the structure while reducing construction difficulties, effort and cost.
